Mr. Churchil H Bhatt Executive Vice President

Churchil Bhatt is the Executive Vice President at Kotak Mahindra Life Insurance Company with over 19 years of experience in the financial markets. In his current role, he is responsible for fund management for Kotak Life with expertise in fixed income, credits and alternate assets.

He joined Kotak Mahindra Group in 2007 and his last stint was with Kotak Mahindra Bank as Senior VP for Primary Dealership. He started her career with State Bank of India, Treasury and has rich experience in Proprietary Trading across fixed income and currency markets. He has been a part of Kotak Life since September 2020.

Churchil holds a B.E. degree in Information Technology from Gujarat University and is an MBA from VGSOM, IIT Kharagpur School of Management.

Ms. Radhavi Deshpande Chief Investment Officer

Radhavi Deshpande is the President and Chief Investment Officer (CIO) at Kotak Mahindra Life Insurance Company (Kotak Life) since April 2021.

Prior to this role, Radhavi was heading the proprietary trading vertical at Kotak Mahindra Bank’s treasury department with expertise in Fixed Income and Equity Trading.

She started her career with Kotak in 1996 and has rich experience in Proprietary Trading and Fixed Income sales.

An MBA from Institute of Management Education Pune, Radhavi is an avid traveller and a yoga enthusiast. Her other interests include playing sports.

Mr. Manoj Bharadwaj Senior Vice President- Fixed Income

Manoj has over two decades of experience in financial markets primarily in the fixed in come space. Prior to joining Kotak Life in March 2022, he worked with ICICI Bank for over 15 years in various capacities. At Kotak Life, his key responsibilities include management of fixed income portfolios in Unit Linked schemes.

Having completed his B.Com from Mumbai University, Manoj went on to do his MMS with specialisation in Finance.

Manoj is a wildlife aficionado and likes to play Table tennis in his free time.

Mr. Avijit Puri Deputy Vice President – Debt

Avijit is currently Deputy Vice President in Kotak Mahindra Life Insurance Company (Kotak Life). He began his career with Tata Services in Bombay House where he worked as an economist and later joined Kotak Group in 2018. He has a total of 10 years of experience in the financial industry, having spent the first 6 years as an economist before transitioning into a fixed income fund manager role with Kotak Life in 2021.

He holds a BA (Hons) in Economics from Sri Venkateswara College, Delhi University and an MSc in Economics from the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE).

In his free time, Avijit likes to play tennis and is an avid follower of cricket.
