Meet My Family of Four!

In the ever-going hustle to make an earning and live in the moment, we often prioritize the present, leaving behind the most unpredictable aspect, the FUTURE.

I am Rita Kapoor, and this is my story.

As a kid, like every other kid, even I loved chocolates and cakes. As I grew up, my friends grew over it, but the little kid in me still kept loving those chocolates. I started hanging out with my aunt who used to travel overseas a lot. She used to get me flavoured cookies that were very new to me. As I started understanding this whole fascination about various cookies, chocolates and creamy cakes, I wanted a space where I can bake a flavour of my own. That is when I knew I would someday like to start my own bakery for people like me.

And here I am today, running my own bakery. It is 3 years now and my bakery is the most loved spot by kids, adults and teenagers alike.

I live in Noida, with my husband, Kartik. He is an established businessman, running his IT company with over 15 clients, successfully. While he has a practical and bold business accumen, he also has an emotional side which only his loved ones know about. He is a caring husband and a wonderful father, too.

God blessed us with two kids Anya and Rohan. Anya is studying in 11th grade and Rohan in the 10th grade. As busy as he was with establishing his own firm, Kartik also made sure that we never miss him. Me and my kids always felt proud of how he managed to keep us all happy while responsibly managing his work.

A typical day in our life usually included Kartik dropping the kids at school and working hard at office, while I was busy with providing my family the best care and running my bakery. While Aanya is shy and loves to keep her circle small, she also managed to excel in sports, and might take over as a head girl.

Rohan is outgoing and popular with everyone. He is smart, studious, and yet finds time to surprise us with his new mischiefs every day.

Every time Kartik and I saw our kids having a good time, our hearts filled with love and happiness. We were enjoying the days of our lives, Kartik’s business was booming and my kids were always up on their feet, busy studying and planning all the mischiefs possible. With the business going great, Kartik was always busy with his work but knew how to maintain the perfect work-life balance and that is what made him the ideal husband and the perfect parent for the children.

To add to our kid’s delight, we had already planned an incredible trip to Dubai, which would have been our very first overseas travel. Since Anya and Rohan were still in the dark about the surprise, as parents, we were both very occupied with all the preparations, trying our best to plan and execute a memorable trip.

The kids were eagerly looking forward to their summer break, but had no idea about the surprise Kartik and I had in store for them. They were counting down the days until the holidays. Little did we know that our lives would turn upside down and a very unfortunate news would come knocking at our doors.
